HARMONIZING
NEWTREE dark chocolate is selected for its richness in fiber, facilitating digestion and providing a more rapid sensation of satiation.

NEWTREE FORGIVENESS chocolate with lemon contains an active ingredient, the Opuntia ficus-indica cactus extract, with a very high fiber content (45%). These fibers bond to ingested fats in the alimentary canal and prevent lipases (pancreatic enzymes) from breaking down these fats into smaller units for absorption in the upper intestine. The fats and fiber then form a sort of gel, which is eliminated without being ingested. The extract contained in NEWTREE chocolates has been subjected to clinical in-vitro and in-vivo studies, and has been shown to possess the ability to fixate 14 grams of fat per gram of extract.

The elimination of part of the ingested fats means that NEWTREE FORGIVENESS chocolate with lemon reduces the caloric contribution attributable to lipids to 9kcal/g.

DARK CHOCOLATE
Dark chocolate contains the greatest
quantities of cocoa. It is a mixture of cocoa
mass, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, sugar and
lecithin. Most of its nutritional value is
derived from the beneficial properties of
cocoa.

Chocolate containing ingredients
other than cocoa has a lower fiber
content, proportional to the content of cocoa
solids. NEWTREE dark chocolates contain
around 11g of fiber per 100g.
